4 His Glory Creations - By CJ Bauschka
CJ's Blog:
Thank God for beading!!  It is truly what keeps me sane.  As things have changed in so many ways in just a very short period of time.  My Mom has recently come to live with me.  And she is such a blessing, yet at the same time she needs a lot of attention.  So I'm learning the true meaning of servant.  and I'm not saying that in a bad way.  It is important to me to have the heart of God within me.  And I'm realizing that I am lacking.  So my prayer is to be kind, loving and patient.

Working on a new project using peyote stitch. It's an experiment, so we'll see what it ends up turning into.  I always seem to start out in one direction and end up with something so totally different.  Will post pictures after it's complete.

Funny same time same place, lol.  Finished my latest project, and I have to say it's pretty cool, kinda groovy!!!

I call it Retro Reflections, it reminds me of the 70's when everything I owned was orange, yellow, and green.  Lol!

I really can't stand when I have beaders block.  I sit down with everything I need to create, yet for some reason I'm blank.  It's frustrating.  Guess it's a sign that I need to do laundry or something! lol

I'm so excited about the June issue of Bead and Button, as my very 1st publication will be on the stands Nation wide.  I'm pretty much the center fold, and that excites me even  more!!!

Seems like the days are just flying by, and I'm trying to get organized so I can sell my designs online.  Sometimes I have difficulty getting my pictures to turn out just the way I want.  But I'm working on it.

New opportunities  to share my passion are coming my way.  Was asked to participate in a summer program for The Boys and Girls club of Lenawee County.  This is a great!  As I was thinking that I wanted to give my time and talent to bless someone and I wasn't exactly sure who.  But God does know, and I'm not surprised how quickly the answer came.

I'm ecstatic as my publication is on the stands, and I've received some very awesome responses to it.  I think I'm going to be much busier than I ever thought.

The days are just flying by, and there's so many things I want to accomplish, working hard on a new project for Bead & Button.  Sold 2 of my bracelets from the June issue of Bead & Button magazine, and will be teaching class on my published design, Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Hobby Lobby, Adrian.  All I know is Beading, beading, beading, just keep on beading!!!

Finally finished my latest design project for Bead and Button.  Thought I'd never get done.  But that's because of lots of start overs, as I can't stand to have beads out of place or have them break on me in the middle of a piece.  So now the hard part, writing the instructions.  I'm hoping for this part to go a little smoother.

Hey, it's the 31st already, spent my Saturday finishing this black and white version of The Eye of the Twister for my sister.  I called her to let her know that I might just keep it for myself, as I'm very happy with the way it turned out.  She reminded me that I'd best send it to her as my check has already been sent, and she wants the goods!  Lol!  She gave me permission to wear it to Church, but that's it.  Monday morning it needs to be in the mail.  After all that work, you'd think she at least let me wear it for a week.

It's the middle of June!!!  How in the world did that happen?  The days are just flying by way to fast, and the heat is having it's effects on me more ways than one.  All my friends that are in this wonderful world of middle age understand perfectly!  Lol
Spent yesterday in Lambertville with my beading buddy Shirleen.  She is such a sweet hostess, and very giving friend.  I'm excited to be working with her on some new projects.

It's been really hot here in Michigan, and it hasn't been beneficial to my getting things done.  So today I have to get class schedules done and work on some new projects.  Having hot flashes while being hot isn't fun.  Makes me grumpy!  And I definitely don't want to be that!

Time is flying, and I am lacking sleep as I have hit a creative high, so I don't seem to know when to stop, But it's all good.  Been playing with some wire wrapping lately.  It is very enjoyable, and takes way less time than bead weaving.  I guess sometimes I need instant gratification!!!  Lol  Will post pics soon.

I'm so excited, just received a new contract for publication for June 2010, Bead and Button magazine.  I'm very happy and thrilled that my dreams are coming true.  I hope that everything I do will in someway bring Glory to God.

I just have to share with the world that God is so amazing, and so beyond my ability to comprehend.  Who am I that He should love me the way that I know He does.  He brings so much goodness and blessings that I do not deserve.  When I talk to Him I know He listens, because of the way the answers come.  Believe me when I tell you that He loves you too.  And wants a relationship!  With you, a personal one.  Let the walls come falling down and invite Him to be your friend.  You won't be disappointed.

Time stands still for no one, and I'm feeling that so much lately.  As I have so many things to get accomplished.  I've been in the process of two major projects, and they need to be completed ASAP.  So I'm under the gun so to speak.  These two pieces will be worn by a recording artist and photographed for her album cover.  They are turning out awesome.  I just have to get to the finished product.  It must be the full moon or something, as my concentration is out the door.  lol.  But I plan on pushing towards the goal.  And  have the result I'm striving for.  One more awesome report, I have submitted my application to teach at The Bead and Button Show in June 2010.  I will be teaching The Eye of the Twister bracelet.  Can't wait!!!  Happy beading everyone!

Where is the time going????  I just know I'm going to blink and it will be Christmas.  Not even funny!!!  I've been working on some new techniques lately, trying to figure out the beaded bead.  I'm not one to use patterns.  I like to play around until I understand the thread paths.  And I think I've got it!!!
